Web design and development portfolio of Paul Webster

I am a Zend Certified web developer, working predominantly with the CakePHP and Lithium Frameworks. I am located in Dunedin, New Zealand.

With a keen interest in the internet and related technologies, I have been working in this field commercially for six years on a full time basis for several New Zealand based web firms, and in a freelance capacity for a handful of individuals and organisations.

I now spend my days at Doubledot Media Ltd making things happen, most notably leading development of our CakePHP projects; Affilorama, Traffic Travis and Zeadoo. All of which have been recognized with featured listings on the CakePHP home page.

After Hours

My little side project www.slicedup.org is an ongoing exploration, rethinking how we build, manage and maintain our websites. Using some of the best FOSS web technologies as a foundation, such as the Lithium PHP Framework, Doctrine ORM, MochaUI and Mootools.

Later in the year I'll be launching something of a social-commentary-come-magazine in the hope to inspire people to question this trouble we're in. Not quite a revolution. Keep an eye on www.newrationale.com.
